With two hours of sailing you can make a short trip out on the sea outside of Södra Vallgrund.

You start with a leisurely trip out of the narrow and beautiful Sommarösund with its boathouses and summer homes. At the mouth of Sommarösund lies the Vallgrund coast guard station and outside the open sea awaits to the southwest. If you sail south you will reach Ensten and the shipping lane to Vaasa and if you sail west along the coast you will reach Korsö lighthouse.
